Product information "Aleppo soap with 55% Laurel fruit oil"
One of the oldest soaps in the world; truly natural;
with a laurel content of 55%
for extremely dry skin, neurodermatitis, psoriasis etc.

For body cleansing, skin care and wound healing, even the ancient Greeks and Romans used laurel soap, which has high levels of linoleic acid and is rich in vitamins A and E as well as minerals such as potassium, magnesium and calcium. Especially through the laurel oil, the soap acts as an astringent, antibiotic and antifungal to the skin, in addition to cleansing, stimulating and refatting. Medically it was used especially against psoriasis, nail bed inflammation, acne and eczema (neurodermatitis). It is also said to provide relief from common insect bites and abrasions as well as from bruises, sprains and rheumatic complaints. Furthermore it is used for hair washing (also beard washing) and against dandruff.  The pH-value of the soap, whose fatty acids are unsaturated and are absorbed by the skin, is 8 and 9, making the soap one of the products of an alkaline skin and hair care. Aleppo soap is sometimes also used to wash clothes, clean fur, leather and household textiles, clean teeth or shave, and as a repellent against insects (for example in closets). When stored in a dry place, the soap can be kept for several years.
As the soaps are stored or dried for about 8 months, the soaps are brown on the outside;
if you have soaped the outer layer, the soap is green
