Product information "Cariboo MountainSneaker low"
A canvas sneaker from the 50s was the model for our MountainSneaker.
We use a Waterproof leather from Tuscany.
So the sneaker is not only suitable for everyday wear, but also for outdoor use.
The sole and the natural rubber edge are vulcanized.
In addition, a mountain profile rubber sole is also glued on.
The inner sole is laminated with cotton. For sneaker fans an ideal bad weather shoe.
The shoe is available in whole sizes (size 36-46)

Cariboo was founded in 1983 as a sports & outdoor brand in Germany. In the pioneering days of the outdoor movement in the U.S. and Europe, the development of synthetic fibers for outdoor clothing, our approach was to work with natural fibers.So we had already discovered wool as the optimal fiber for our first product the wool fleece jacket. Until today we use only natural materials for our clothing. The advantages of natural fibers are unique and protect you perfectly in everyday life, sports & outdoor. Even back then when things like pollution, climate change etc. were not yet on our agenda, our approach to work with natural materials was the right one. Our idea was to develop products in best quality and classic, timeless design, which can be worn versatile. Things that can be used for a long time, repaired if necessary, are more sustainable than anything else. The spirit of the outdoor movement from the early 70's and 80's inspired us and still inspires us today. "Legendary garments & equipment" to develop. From the beginning we decided to manufacture our products in our own production in Germany and with small workshops mainly from Germany & the EU. Only in this way we can offer our customers a quality as we imagine it. Our own repair service repairs all Cariboo products, extending their life and minimizing their environmental footprint.
